Hey guys,
i am on a mission to increase the Torque of my 2003 vtr.
can you please advise of the best mods for the job.
so far i have a scorpion exhaust system (2 silencers).
k&n kit with cold air feed.
as far as funds i am doing this over a long period (3 years imo), so dont worry about gettin excited!
thanks for your help

this is a bit off the point but.. im guessin its a 57i k & n kit, you see some good improvements eg sound performance etc ??? cos im tempted to replace m pipercross one for it.

i have the basic one, it was on there when i brought it!
its the 57i yeh, it sounds cool but doesn't give very good throttle response, and it sits pretty much right on the throttle body = hot air!
i plan on replacing it once i have had a few good recomendations, the search control has left me with no joy btw!
so no the answer is a dont rate them at all!
yea the K 'n' N will be loosin power more then likey so id say get a raceland with green filter. Just small things like decat, remove center silencer will be a small improvment.
Manifold is always helpfull.

sound.
i plan on getting a supsersprint 4-2-1 to connect to the scorpion ( i have been told this should work), then an enclosed induction kit, its just knowing the best one as BMC are also highly rated.

you can have my ss mani soon for 50 quid slight dent on the bottom but works fine you will notice a definate mahoosive power increase the second that you decat it with the ss manifold regards suvvy

about £30 off ebay
bmc are restrictive. go for raceland, cheap but better.

i thought they were a nightmare to fit and where cheaply built?
have you ever seen a green enclosed kit that does not require any mods to fit?
costs £200+ though........
the raceland will fit fine. seen green fitted but just the same as raceland just a tad bigger.
