does anyone know how easy or hard would be to fit bike carbs to a 03 vtr engine? my mate started to fit these to his polo but now scraped the car and taken apart. he told mw i would need to get a new dissy and a few other things to get it to run.

there was an article in French car magazine the other month that said it could be done for about £400 (ish!).
i think you have to fabricate a bracket to fit the air filter on though, it is in the issue before the most recent, if that makes sense!

has anyone done bike carbs on a saxo vtr? and if so what are the performance gains?
Why ditch injection?? carbs are a big backwards step.
If you want to change the inlet use bodies and an injection system.

i think it would be a bad idea to get into it unless you are an experienced perfessional or have alot of cash to spend! if cash is the answer than go turbo !
