I found that pick up was better and also throttle response was very responsive, makes the vts sound awesome too:y:
Suppose most decats are the same, there just straight through pipes.

got a decat, 421 manifold and pipercross viper induction kit on my vts, drives mint, the decat makes it rev more freely! definate must anyway! sounds great at 7500 rpm :) also superchipped!

Is a de-cat better than a sports cat.

i think so yer, am guessing the sports cat duznt let as much gasses through as easy compared to a decat, as there is still some restriction! i have just put mine on but its not welded on and its blowing a bit! :-(
