I brought a green induction kit for my vtr which came with an oil breather. Unfortunatly for me all the oil breathers done is cover my engin bay in a nice coat of oil. What can i do or how can i overcome this problem. Is it best to jus buy a different kit which doesnt have an oil breather.

Buy a 57i or a GENII kit from K&N, they have a extra breather hose, which reconnect to the main tube (closed system)

Open system is that aloud for MOT?

Strictly speaking you are not supposed to have any secondary emissions, so the breather should go back into the engine.. but this doesnt tend to be picked up on MOT's...

I'd suggest plumbing the breather back into the inlet system... or if the oil mist is quite bad, use a catch tank? Not necessary, but look cool..

You shouldn't get a LOT of oil coming out of the breather... unless piston rings are worn.
