What Exhaust System You Guys Recommend ???

hiya guys.

im new to the forum as you may well no... i currently own a 51 plate saxo vtr in gold :D:D, lukin for a de-cat exhaust system, can anyone recommend one which is deep, burbles, loud, pops etc.. i was finkin of gerrin a custom one made up from superflow, wht size tip you all recommend.

All down to opinion mate... i was very tempted with the Supersprint Race System from kam racing, but the tip wasnt my taste,

i think magnex is one of the most common (3.5" tip usually), just got my self a magnex cat back and after a magnex decat now, meant to sound nice with a few pops :P

your best bet is search on youtube, theres alot of saxos with different systems there, gives you an idea of the look and sound :)

your cat will be in the manfold so will need a new manifold to de-cat..

been looking at a super sprint centre section with a piper back box look at videos on you tube

whts a BTB exhaust system? never herd of it, and neither GMC ??? links wud b appreciated :) what kinda noise does the BTB giv?

Paul you cant get a new btb unless you want to spend around £1000 for a one off..

Gmc is a Scottish company who are a tuner for all types of cars buts mostly saxos and pugs

The sound of a BTB is very deep and loud but not if toy put it on a mk 2 saxo with a cat in the down pipe sounds quite quiet..

my custom system sounds awesome.....

gmc 4-1 manifold with powerflow straightthrough mid section, decat and piper 4" slashcut back box.....

pops a flame in every gear! :D

i have a piper stainless backbox and a straight through centre pipe with a bmc air box. the cat and standard manifold is still in place and my exhaust pops all the time and is quite raspy when you thrash it.
