im getting a new car for when i turn 20
and ive been looking frantically for ages now.

i originally wanted a vts but i have decided against another saxo as i love mine but fancy a change

so....

ive been looking at a clio172.. i think they look amazing and apparently the performance is amazing too!

anyone got one/driven one/raced one... or any opinions please

if theres a better car i should look at let me know !

182 or a 197/cup tbh.

172's are ok but a bit dated now.

cost.. i really like the design of the 172 aswell.. and theres a 2 grand difference between 172 and 182...

yeh i would love a vts purely for the performance .

but it would be a beefed up vtr which is wat i got now...

the 172 is cheaper than the 182 lol but yeh undoubtedly more expensive than a vts... anyone raced a 172 in a vts lol?

dont just have a look at french cars maste. there are many cars which will surprise you. obviously we all love saxos. but if i could insure one, a civic VTi-s would be the first i looked at.

as for the 172 is cheaper on insurance,
my cup was more money than a 182 FF / 182 Cup.

Buy a 172 mate,
it makes no sense to pay an extra 2k for something that has 2 exhausts and a supposed 10PS more.

My missus has a standard 182 and my vts sits on her arse till 130 then she pulls away quite easily.

As for cost, saxos are cheap as chips to fix and a piece of piss to do your self. The 182 costs an arm and leg to service. Think a cambelt change is £500 for a garage todo. Sod that.
