HI CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ANY FEEDBACK AS TO WHY MY ENGINE IS BURING OIL???
HAVE BEEN TOLD IT MIGHT BE THE PISTON RINGS.
ANY HELP WOULD BE GRATEFUL.:panic:

the person who told you it could be the piston rings is right.. Oil leaks past them into the combustion chamber

Valve stem oil seals...
Common on these I do believe... this happened to me years back on a 106 xsi (same block)

couple of hundred at a garage... head needs removing.
I'm sorry I don't have anything brighter to say... other then possibly drop a 16v lump in, I did this on the XSi.

Could be a few things.
Stem seals or rings are the things that pop straight to mind.
