manifold

not sure which one to go for :(
raceland is ALOT cheaper, but ive been told it has problems as things need relocating

what kind of performance difference will the supersprint offer? is it work about £150 extra?

anyone who actually has tried both would help, or if you've had either on a car
i dont want people saying what they've heard and stuff, i wanan know for sure

thanks, rep will be given

Never had Raceland. But got a SuperSprint manifold, was extremely easy to fit and lines up bob on......

Believe there was a thread about this saying although Raceland was a lot cheaper, had better gains than the Supersprint. Or i could be completely wrong :D

I'll have a search for ya

Janspeed imo are the best value for money.

Janspeed imo are the best value for money.

i've only read about janspeed a few times in a few threads, and its only been about backboxes normally

im not after value for money, or cheapest one i want the best performance gains i can get, within limits

like piper and GMC are meant to be really good, but a bit too expensive

The janspeed manifold for the saxo's are only mild steel rather than stainless like supersprint, piper and raceland.

Indeed they are, but coated to prevent rust.

But with SS being quite expensive, and the raceland fitment being an issue, they are what i recomend.

Had a raceland and replaced it with the supersprint much better through the gear range than the raceland and the built quality is noticeable too.
Both good cant really fault the raceland but prefer the supersprint.

Thanks, just the kind of answer i was wanting :D
raceland £190
Supersprint £350

what would you recommend?
is the supersprint that much better?

from what i have seen there are no proven gains from the supersprint compared to the raceland. Personally i would say go for raceland ( like i did ) as although yes the fitment is a bitch, you are still saving yourself money and as above very minimal if any difference on the gain side of things

Cant beat the supersprint race exhaust though :p

theres a Pro-tech one on ebay for £175 plus delivery which my mate had one his 106 gti, fitted properly and had good gains. i had a raceland on my vtr and it didnt line up properly where the manifold studs are, had to be modified by my trusty mechanic mate but for a low price what do you expect? if its for your furio and you dnt intend on keepin very long, i'd say raceland

Get the GMC stainless steel 4-1 tbh - it doesn't require the relocation of the oil filter and unlike the Supersprint, it bolts to the gearbox and avoids any rattling. :)

Sorry, my reply was badly worded haha. I've got a Supersprint myself and it fits my MK2 no bother - it is very close to the oil filter though.
