de-cat mk2 without buying mani?

hey, just wondering if you could use the down pipe off a mk 1 to de-cat the mk 2 with the cat in the manifold, is this possible?

or if it came to replacing the manifold could a mk 1 manifold be used

Yeah you can use a mk1 manifold, but the oil filter will need converting to a mk1 one.
