mk1 vtr cat

does anyone know if a cat from a mk1 VTR will be ok to use on an m.o.t for a MK2 VTS?

i have been told it will by a friend but i dont fully believe it without more opinions

no, its a different length iirc, or that might be the gti and vts cats?? cant remember, there a different length cats but i cant remember which it is.

it should fit mine mk1 cat from my r went onto dans for his mot, only thing that wont work is if you use a cat froma mk2 as they are in the mani on mk2 vtr
