I got told the other night that you can grind the inside down which would increase throttle response. Is this true and if so which bit would i be grinding down.

well it does make sense as the throttle body is designed to allow more air into the intake manifold which in turn makes the air flow sensor or throttle position sensor tell the ecu to add more fuel to keep the air/fuel ratio correct, but wouldn't you have to have a larger butterfly valve?
me personally i wouldn't recommend it mate ya could take to much out and or it could crack etc etc ur better off just spending money on good proven mods that are designed for the sole purpose of increasing throttle response, power and acceleration

put it this way, has it ever been proven to do anything productive in regards to engine power?
Stick to proven methods as stated already.
