its not 2 hard just a bit fiddely , what cage u getting ? a fitted an OMP 6 point myself , stripped teh car bare and it went in without any major issues , a body to help put it in would make it easier , so not too hard :y:

also 2 add if its the OMP u will need differnt door cards as teh standard vts door pockets prevent teh door from shutting because of the door bars , cant comment on any of teh other cages as i have no experience :y:

When fitting a bolt in cage its still wise to weld proper strengthening plates to the floor to stop the cage penetrating the chassis in an accident. We are doing the OMP cages on our preorder deal if you want to pick up a bargain.

I have a Safety Devices Full cage in my Vtr it was ordered from a rally prep place who is the dealer for the saxo he is based in lyemington spa
The cage is designed to fit with out removing or cutting the dashboard
and also having had 2 major crashes last season i opted for the double door bars
It was £690 +vat
it is very well made and was quite a s*d to fit (only because i am in IT and not a welder)
My biggest issue was welding the sun roof up
Not the easiest thing to do and very time consuming
My car is finally finished and is off to be mot'ed next monday then off to brands later next month for a shake down before some testing
enjoy
