Hi Guys
im looking to put an air induction pipe on my air filter.
i was looking at the gmc Gp A Direct Air Inlet Kit but after seeing all the cracked ones dont think i will be trying it.
would something like this hose allow me to fit the filter at the front?

or would i be better shoving in:

you would be better getting a bmc CDA or a raceland inclosed with green cotton filter
tbh id scrap that thing you have on your car atm it aint doing much

Your best bet would be to scrap that filter, as its rubbish, and get a complete enclosed raceland one.
Or if you really want to keep that open air filter, then go for the hosing with the 90 degree bend in.
Im guessing your going for noise over performance?
Edit: God damn, someone beat me to it!

hi
cheers for the speedy replys.
im looking for performance not so intrested in the sound., the filter came on the car.
i've looked at closed indcution, the cheapest ive found the bmc for was £166 from msw. looks good,. and ive checked out the raceland one, but there seems to be problems with this one. especially if the engine gets hot.
with the bmc one will i need to get the engine ecu remapped on it as well?
i think the car has had a remap, but i dont know for sure, any way i can find out?
cheers

if you are after the same performance as the BMC but you are not interested in the looks then you could consider the DIA kit. Performs just as well
I've linked to the later model VTR one as I presume with the £166 VTR CDA kit I guess thats the model you have.
