Right this may seem like blasphemy to some of you but ive had an idea....

I have a BTB exhaust, no ones really interested in buying it for how much i want so im thinking of keeping it.

I have a 106 that im playing with and i quite fancy having the BTB noise. The thing is, i fecking HATE the look of 106s with the btb oval pipe.. so......

What do you think it would sound like if i was to chop of the oval tip and leave the small pipe that exits the back box, have it tucked under the bumper like a standard exhaust.

I think the oval tip is just for show, shouldnt make much difference would it?

as long as you keep the same bore having a new tail pipe fitted wont matter.

remeber dave sharps and lewis both have btb with poo pipe exits.

Yea it would look similer to theirs but all tucked up behind the bumper. Didnt know if the actual tip of it effected the noise at all?

Would you not need to kink the end so it doesnt burn your bumper?

Not sure without offering it up as 106/saxo back boxs hang differently. Its a bit of a shed so a burnt bumper may look pretty cool :D

there shouldnt really be any noise change as i say if its kept at the same bore, the tip tunes it slightly but not alot of difference imo
