would it be worth taking my spare off ?

would that benefit the performance?..

in the typical event of getting a flat tyre i got plenty of mates that would help out lol.. i hope

Wouldnt really benifit the performance tbh, alittle weight saving maybe but not alot, upto you tbh.

If you have alot of friends to help out then good, many people on here dont have them on.

Didnt have one on old car, mainly due to the tyre being shredded and me being too skint to get new one lol

Little or no performance gains, unless the rest of the car is stripped

ive taken mine off, and the spare wheel cage with a hacksaw, so no going back.

Was chatting to my mate the other day and i said ive never had a blowout before, i bet id lose control and crash. Then the next day i get a bastard blow out, talk about temping fate.

At first i thought some of the trim had fallen off (typical saxo) so kept driving, then realised i had a blow out.

Had to trundle to my mates house to get him to give me a lift to my hosue to pic up my spare.

I carry it around with me now :p

OMP spare wheel straps are the enxt thing on my list :p

my mk1 didnt have one because it had center mounted exhaust box...

never needed it, just carry some tyre weld stuff from halfrauds incase of flats.
