VTR or VTS would be easiest conversions.
Pick one up for a few hundred quid and fit it yourself?
If you plan on paying a garage to do it though it might be cheaper just to put the money towards a bigger engined car and sell the 1.1.

^^^Spot on..
Get a bigger engined car..The 1.1i's are not at all sporty in setup when it comes to brakes and sus so these will need upgrading ideally aswell..Just buy a VTR/S..

what's your imagination say tbh
easyest is as said
I'm doing a vts into mine atm
make sure you get the same year engine as your car
I had 1 a few years newer (3plug into a 1plug car) and have had to change the whole cars wiring
it's pretty easy to do though
I'd reckonend swapping all the suspesion and brakes at the same time as well

Buy a VTR or VTS, easier, probably cheaper in the long run too.

oh you may also need the vts fuel tank and lines
tbh buy a vts/vtr
it's easier
if you decide to convert get another car to use as a runabout as it's not a weekend job
need engine mounts welding in n all sorts

:y:
Plus your insurance will be higher with a VTS engine swap than actualy having a VTS.
I'd only build a sleeper out of something that was a bit oldskool IMO.
