Getting my alloys tomorrow and thought I'd fit a back box on when I change the wheels over. Would appreciate it if anyone can tell me if these are good value, will they fit my 1998 1.1x and which do you think is best? Thanx.

i had a sportex on my old car and they are loudish yes but i wouldnt really recomend them.

they are dead heavy aswell so f u get one id get ew rubber hangers aswell.

if u jst wnt a cheap backbox then they arnt the worst exhusts in the world but dnt get a full system as im shure when i had mine it made my car slower by a fair bit.

What would you recommend? I only want a back box, more for show and a bit of sound than performance ...it's only a 1.1 lol.

piper are good, they look great if you get the stainless ones and they sound good too.

Will they be a direct fit ...I just buy it and fit it on? Looked at this one:

i bought mine off the same guy as that, when i bought it he asked what car i had and the backbox i got fitted perfectly. it also came with a fitting kit including new bushes.

if i were you i would ask him if he had one that would fit your car before you spend any money tbh. im sure he will be able to sell u one that fits, i hope this helps

yeah ashley exhausts are one of the loudest exhausts to buy but they arent as good quality, so u get what u pay for tbh. in my opinion piper are very good value as all the ones i have heard about fit perfectly

I bought my ashley 4" backbox off that seller. Got really fast delivery, it fitted directly and sounded awesome. Quality was real good too :y:
