Is it possible to get a Mk2 VTR to sound like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvXiywZsnI0

??

Basically a Clio 182 with a yozza system and de-cat.

Whats the best system to replicate that clio lol?

are you after the raspy bit at the top of the rev range? supersprints from cam are ment to be dead raspy and pop cheep to:D

Yes thats it. I don't want the exhaust to sound deep or anything, just raspy like that clio.

you'll need a race system to sound close to that

if you want a stainless steel one go for the OMP inox.

mild steel the Supersprint full race.

we sell both..

not got any experience of ashley but others on here give them good reviews.

Never heard a saxo sound like that, but if it's rasp your after... Supersprint full race system 2" exit, will be closest you'll get from just the exhaust being modded.

AFAIK anyways. :y:

What manifold would I need? Surely the rasp comes from the lack of cat?

Would you recommend the supersprint mid silencer too or not?

a mani will add to the rasp a bit
id say no boxes (apart from backbox obv)

would be nice
my mate has a supersprint on his vtr (no mni though) and it sounds pretty nice

most aftermarket manifolds will give it a better sound.

just needs to be a straight through setup

The videos I have seen on here/youtube of the supersprint just don't seem as good as the pugsport ones.

How much would it cost to fill the exhaust hole on the bumper?
