running lumpy

now then now then my sax luvin friends! my vts is running bit crap, ticking over lumpy, revs dropping n nearly cutting out while stil then back to normal. while moving its great, no probs, but just ticks ova poorly. couple of people guessed at air flow meter probs or air leaks but wondered if any of u guys have experienced the same???? thanx

i think the vts's tend to run slightly lumpy anyway on idle.

i know mine does, but i think thats because of the fueling.

mine runs a bit lumpy too..when i drive it then stop at lights the revs drop a bit like its going to cut out then it goes ok again if i tap accelerator cuz it runs back on normal idle..only does it sometimes though but i know what you mean!

annoying init! i luv it apart from that tho. jay, do u have ne idea wot sort ov horses ur runnin at the mo? ant ad mine on the rollers yet n cin as tho me n u r on pretty much the same mods just wondered? i woz prob thinkin rond the 130 mark? gen 2 induction kit iv got meant 2 giv 10 horses alone but doubt it

yeah the induction kit wont give 10bhp or anywhere near that as its not an enclosed one. even an enclosed air filter wont give you 10 bhp.

not enclosed but got the heat shield round it, meks a luvly noise at full chat i no that tho

i had sum on ere couple ov weeks ago but iv got my wheels on, colour coded dash, dun my de cat, polished rocker covers n few other bits since then mate. il get sum on in next couple a days, same colour as urs smileys/smiley2.gif

wana get head work, manifold n a re map wen i got sum brass now. need mor horses matey. wot powers urs pushin at the min u reckon?

not sure to be honest, id expect about 135bhp. wanna get it rolling roaded but need other things 1st.
