I dont know
If should get my mate to service my car he would charge about £30 - £40, or the local garage said about £150.
If a get my mate to do it, is this all a need? And much would it come to, just to buy the parts.
Fuel filter
Oil filter

All of those things you can do your self!
Get the haynes book, as it is very useful!

Youre proibably looking at about 100 quid to buy all that stuff to service your car.

If your looking to keep up a service history then yes, get it done at the garage. If not then crack on with doing it yourself with a friend. It's not to hard to do at all!

i know i make a living out of this stuff, but i would never pay someone to change my oil, only if they were taking the oil for some other reason, i.e. a rebuild.
however, its always worth spending that little bit extra too keep up the service history
and with british weather, you'll probably get wet, and annoyed if doing in on the road on your back in the rain.

you could get all that stuff for about £80
all depends on how much you want to spend on the breaks
get it done by a mate who works in a garage, best of both worlds then

what you pay in labour at a dealership is what you lose on the book not being stamped when you come to sell it, tbh in the long run its cheaper to do it yourself
