I have a issue with a catalytic converter ive bought 2nd hand.
I was told be owner it was all but brand new from a mk2 vts with lambda hole, so when it turns up all looks good and I go to fit it but find the dia of the pipe is to small and does not match my system.
Im using a magnex exhaust with raceland mani, but this are all interchangeable with standard system yes?
ive been to my local exhaust tyre garage and bought a mk2 vts cat off the shelf, its a bigger size pipe and fits perfectly.
was there ever a different size exhaust for the vts or does it look like ive been sent the wrong cat?
Id like to clear this up and eliminate any error on my half before going further.
