Now everyone has always told me these are a bit pony and cause the car to actually loose power. Now with the gti put one on as I had it lying about, sounds louder, hasnt lost any power and seems smoother other than that not great difference.

Opinion? have used raceland etc before but I mean end of the day viper is an enclosed type kit to

Viper aren't bad, but they aren't the best either. You could do worse, however you could do better in the way of a Raceland or BMC CDA, especially the latter. However it comes down to your budget. If you're happy with how the Viper is performing in your GTi then I'd stick with that.

as long as it is geting nice cold air it will be fine it wont be as lowed as an open filter but you lose power on them cuz they suck in the engine bay heat in

i have a r/l enclosed then changed it to a viper. the viper was poo tbh, didnt like it at all. for the price of them they are a bloody rip off
