Manifold, louder?

I already have a supersprint exhaust (decat), and before i fit my cams i am thinking about getting a manifold, will it give me better gains? also i dont want my car any louder.

im sure it does make it a bit louder, but gives it a nicer sound than standard manifold! and im sure there are some gains with a manifold, but nothing major!

mani with your set up should sound ok not too much of a dif, but the gains are noticible mate when the mani is changed.
Got supersprint mani and de-catted and full magnex system and sounds the baws. not to loud just nice:y:

makes a nice noise but not much louder until u boot it, and ull need a manifold b4 cams anyway and a good induction kit

When its got a few miles on it and its been run in, same as an exhaust system.

I doubt it'll make it much louder considering you already have a Supersprint exhaust, you will get some performance gains from getting an aftermarket manifold. Search around the forum, plenty of threads on here querying about performance gains from 4/2/1 and 4/1 manifolds.

jonezy - all he means by "when it's coked up" is, once the exhaust has bedded in, done a couple of hundred miles.

Im sure ive read somewhere that the note of the supersprint exhaust system changes alot once you fit an aftermarket 4-2-1 manifold? More rasp etc?

its not louder but makes noises at different revs. defo change your manifold, makes a big difference
