Exhaust choice...Magenex or Piper

Want to get a backbox this weekend but not sure which one to get.

magnex went bust mate... so only be able to buy what people have on the shelf if anything. Magnex are quiet and you have to cut the centre section.

Had both and if I had to buy another it would be the piper

Hmm ok, think im gunna get Piper. Are 3.5" loud? or would you say a 3" sounds nicer?

The Magnex is one of those exhausts that looks gash unless it's fitted right - it takes a lot of fiddling on. I'd go with a Piper or Supersprint every time. :)

Right, going to defo get a Piper. 3" or 3.5". What gives a nicer sound, like a deeper sound? Is the 3" at all quieter or is it just looks?

Got the Piper S/S 4" slash cut. Good fit, nice sound. All in all satisfied :)

ive got a 3.5" outward rolled system and i wouldnt have anything else, maybe 3",
nice burl while driving, quiet then sweet when you put your foot down

I had a magnex exhaust with the ABP centre section and it sounded great tbh.I think they look good too and it isnt hard to get them to sit right.

yeh well im hoping a 3" will keep the noise down, and also just a backbox.

if yours is a vtr with the cat in the manifold with no other mods it will sound really quiet!
get a 4-2-1 if you want it really loud!

piper 3" outward is what i've decided on mate aswell, magnex look and hang poo imo let alone barely tell difference from standard.. thats my verdict anyway.
