do u need the fog lights on a saxo vtr to pass an mot? coz i want to take out the bottom fog lights and replace them with ducting to feed cold air to my induction kit.

No mate front fog lights are not required for MOT :y:

just the rear one.

if front fogs are fitted they must be working though :P

If your putting induction hosing down that low, make sure theres a turn in the pipe that goes back on itself more than 90 degrees. Otherwise, if you hit a big puddle, your likely to suck water into your engine, which will destroy it

tah for the info. i was wondering if i could get a cone for the end of th ducting the same shape as the foglight surrounds?

it would look really good matey, but i wouldn't recommend it!

i used to have a k&n cold air feed that they recommend screwing to the bottom of the spliter! not good.

and some people say that air filters are water proof, well they're not, its just well maintained ones (oil) will repel a small amount of water.

i would recommend a raceand filter with the cold air coming from the grill...
