Rather than stick loads of different posts on this morning in just gonna roll them all in to one post!!

1: How long do the VTS engine mounts last for? Are they easy to replace (i've done a mk2 festa before, lol)

2: Can the Ignition coil module be replaced for leads, if so is there any advantage and where do i get the bits?

3: When sould the Ignition coil module be changed if i cant replace it??

4: My local garage said that the VTS timing can not be changed, (basically i'm having trouble with the engine running rough and i thought/think this is the problem. but he said its sorts itself out) Is he telling porkies?

Cheers Guys, any help would great, and if the spelling if off its because Ive just finished a 14 hour shift at work!!

1: diffuclt, depends on use of the car etc...

2: yes, no real advantage

3: Should only be changed if its ferked

4: the timing can be changed, wether its the cause of your problems is another thing

I think the garage bloke will be on about ign timing not cam timing, ign timing cant be changed as its controlled by the ECU, older cars with a distributor cap could be by rotating it this would either advance or retard the timing.

so if he meant that which i think he will he was right, but cam timing you can change but this wouldnt just go wrong if it did it would be very wrong!
