Right, so whats peoples opinions on this resistor's to make the car put more fuel in and slightly advance the timing. I dont really know exactly what it does...I did think it was just to make the car think it was running cooler. But I dunno.

So anyone that knows exactly what they do let me know. Or if you've tried one.

1st of all what car have you got and what mods do you have on the engine?

if your talking bout the resistors from ebay then dont waste your money.

nothing, the only thing it does do is take your money away.

makes the engine thinks its pulling in cooler air, sticks a little extra fuel in, then the lambda will sense theres to much fuel so try to cut it out, but its stillt thinking wait its cool air then you run the risk of bore wash and all mannor of gremlins lurking at the bottom of your bed for being a goon and paying £5 for a resistor that you could go down to maplins and buy for 4 and a half new english pence, or you could be uber cool and buy a variable resistor and then you can can set your power boost smileys/smiley12.gif

If you really want to give it a try go to a local Maplin electrical store and get one for 2p

I wasnt looking to buy one just wondered how it was suppose to work. lol.
