u want loudness...get sumthin cheap and cheerful like powerflow or rage

u want performance and reliability...get the gmc manifold

yes in theory it wil make it louder than your standard exhaust as theres more room for the exhaust gases to b exited. but you'd need the rest of the exhaust to go with it
