Future plans
I haven't updated this again due to lack of funds, basically all i am doing atm is running the car for daily use. I've done a few bits like rust sealed the rear. I've also fitted standard mirrors. I had a new refurb'd axle from IM which was lowered 70mm so now its sitting a tad lower at the rear. but i havent got any pics sorry guys.
My future plans are a bit crazy since i only resprayed the car last year, but basically toying with a matt finish with gloss black bump strips, vts alloys and other few bits in gloss black like spoiler etc to brake the matt color up. Undecided on what matt color i'm going for its either Matt white, Black OR Red oxide :O!!
Thanks for looking.

Well I purchased a VT front bumper and side door panels to work on a while back thought i'd post some pictures of how its coming along.
Basically wanted a wide mouth, de-fogged shaped splitter VT bumper and de-badged door panels to make my sexo 100% debadged lol.
First started by chopping the plastic ridge off around the fog hole, and then cutting some mesh to fit,
http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq207/ant809099/SDC10749.jpg
Then glued the mesh in place just to add a little strength and so it wouldn't move for when i applied fiberglass
http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq207/ant809099/SDC10751.jpg
I cut some fiberglass matting to shape
http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq207/ant809099/SDC10754.jpg
Then applied the fiberglass resin...
http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq207/ant809099/SDC10755.jpg
This is what it now looked like from the outside....
http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq207/ant809099/SDC10758.jpg
Lots of filler, only got 1 picture of this but it took lots of sanding then appling more filler etc to get it right!!!
http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq207/ant809099/SDC10767.jpg
This is the finished result, in primer.
http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq207/ant809099/DSCF2355.jpg
http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq207/ant809099/DSCF2354.jpg
This is the wide mouth 90% there, and markings drawn out to where i'm cutting the splitter.
http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq207/ant809099/DSCF2356.jpg
And splitter cut to shape. I didn't have the luxary of a jigsaw just a regular hand saw was a nightmare! Still needs more sanding on the left side.
http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq207/ant809099/DSCF2361.jpg
Another pic of the splitter cut.
http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq207/ant809099/DSCF2362.jpg
Here's the door panel a quick before and after, its in red primer.
http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq207/ant809099/SDC10757.jpg
No progress pics just afterwards....
http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq207/ant809099/DSCF2359.jpg
http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq207/ant809099/DSCF2358.jpg
So thats where i'm at, need to get the wide mouth 100% and sand the splitter more then i can primer the whole thing and get ready for its matt paint job :P. Thanks for looking.

Yeah I decided to go down the matt black route matey.
Although I only resprayed it last year my car had scratches and all sorts due to idiots and I wasnt happy with it.
Because of my budget this was the best option plus soon I will be going down the track route so matt black is easy to mantain and practicle for a track car. Thanks mate.

I sprayed it myself mate whilst I was finishing a body restoration and spraying course at college. Only cost £100 for paint/etc :P. I wasn't 100% happy with the finish and someone decided to scratch the paint in some areas ... so I thought fuck it I will re-spray it in matt haha.

Update
Finally got my procomp bonnet fitted with aero bonnet pins. It's a little rough around the edges but it serves its perpose as a good light weight replacment as it only weighs 3.5kg.
Pictures say a 1000 words and all that ...

You need to paint the bonnet, it just looks out of place as it is.

Thats how it sits mate, carbon bonnets wrap a little over time but as I said it serves a perpose i'm no style whore anyway :homme:
+ to that
As above :)

Wont be painting it anytime soon as its pure carbon no clear coat so would require lots of high build primer to smooth out the weaves and I dont have the money for that atm jobless :(.

Thanks mate. I smoothed the boot myself so it only cost me the materials as I did all the work.
