Right then, bought the car on Saturday.... Broke down sunday morning.... Garage rung me this morning with the answer its a dodgy cut-out switch. they are bypassing it altogether. does anyone now if this will cause any problems? i mean cant see it doing so myself but im not an expert.
Any opinions welcome please

if you crash, your engine will still run, and you'd probably die as a result, but apart from that :y:
get one from a scrappy, will be a few pence

the inertia switch or whatever its called? probably better to get one instead of by passing it, its designed to tell when you have a smash and cuts the power feed to the engine.

I have one but I think one of the screw holes is broken off.
Still works and you can still fix it to the car body.
£5 posted just pm me if you dont get sorted out.
