tryed a search but cant really find what im looking for :wacko:

just bought a '98 vts, planning the obligatory 4 branch and full stainless, air filter etc..

who would be able to map it up to a decent figure around the glasgow area and how much would i be looking at? also what kind of power gain would i be looking at?

is it worth waiting till i cam it ?

To be honest id wait until you decide to cam it. The usual changes of induction and exhaust are only really 'small' mods and wont make much of a difference to the map.

Mapping price depends where you go and whether you stay on a standard ECU. £200 upwards for the very basic remap

you can map your standard ecu with cams, i know plenty of members that do and no problems, decent mapping place will be able to do it

Go standalone for best results from your mods. The Predator ECU (PM luthor1 [Andy]) which costs around the £600 mark i think, includes FREE remaps. Worth every penny in my opinion, especially as the ECU uses the standard plug. Only issue would be that they are in Southampton, but i think they travel around quite a bit so would probably be able to schedule you in...

Theres currently a group buy for the predator on here mate, currently 550 fitted and mapped and they have been up this neck of the woods before so dont see it being a problem location wise
