please can someone help explain how to change the camshafts on a VTR and the things i should uprate when fitting, also is there anything i should be careful of when doing?
any help is greatly appreciated!!

you can change the camshafts as there is only one.
what camshaft you going for as you may not need to uprate the internals.
Try having a serach around mate, should be a good few threads like this.

i'm not sure about fitting the camshaft, ive just bought the pt40 from kent and all i need is a new head gasket set and a cambelt, on some of the other brands like piper i've heard you need heavier valve springs cause when your in the high rev range it feels like you're hitting the limiter.

only need them iff running wild camshafts.
If your engine is higher mileaged maybe best to replace them, if not dont bother :y:
