How regularly do you do it! say every 3-4 months or do you go by mileage!?

111,000 thats alot of miles!!

about half of those are motorway miles, as my mate who had the car before me had a 100mile round trip to work every day, and he lived in kinross while his g/friend lived in glasgow. i got the car at 74,000miles 2 1/2 years ago, and since i bought it i change the oil, the oil filter and the fuel filter every 5000 miles and fingers crossed i've never had any problems with the engine.

the main thing i had to do recently was change the ball joint on the drivers side for its MOT, i had a dodgy MOT the 2yrs prior to that and the car had never been checked. so it wasnt bad for not being checked for 2years smileys/smiley5.gif smileys/smiley17.gif smileys/smiley4.gif

I got my 98 vtr a couple of months ago, on about 90k atm, had to have cv joint changed and now need a new radiator, apart from that its running fine, just waiting to change the fuel filter, oil filter and spark plugs when the new radiator goes on and get some lovely clear oil in there smileys/smiley4.gif
