help needed

Right basically ive had a Vtr for few weeks now for first car and want to increase bhp.what sort of things do i need to look at doing before getting all technical with the cams and remaps etc?

Start with a good air filter - enclosed type.
Then exhaust and manifold.

Also consider upgrading the brakes & striping out the car.

i'd personally do the brakes and suspension first then engine mods after they are done. as its been said may times, whats the point of having a quick car if the car dont handle and cant stop you quick enough.
