Hi guys,
Ive got an assignment for my college to find out materials used on a car.
I have to include 6 metallic metals, 4 cermaic materials and 2 polymer materials.

Ive got a couple of metallic materials and ceramic brake pads but cant think of any more.
Just wondering if any engine boffs could think of any.

All help much appreciated.

Iron - engine blocks
aluminium - engine blocks as well
Titanium

Carbon fiber
Fiberglass

Wood (morgan use it!)

Try looking at some exotic car makers for some different materials used e.g porche, ferrari etc...

You could always say Rust (Iron oxide i think)
