don't do it dude.
its only the raceland manifolds that you need to reloate the oil filter to fit.
i had one on mine and altho it was noisey and drinking oil and thought it was fine..... untill i got a new cat for m.o.t time and fitted that and the manifold and put the old oil filter on and the car ran so much smoother and the engine was quieter and drinks less oil and the main thing its actually faster with it on lol.
its up 2 you tho.
if you do want to do it (which i wouldnt) then u need a oil filter adaptor.
and u need an oil filter form a mk1 vtr.
also ur going to need a 10mm tap/threader and a 10mm bolt because ur going need to threat and block up a whole in the engine.
also your going need to move the oil temp sensor (i think lol) that goes in a hole that needs to be unblocked in the engine.( but ur going need to fine a smaller sensor as mine started to melt as it was close to the manifold (and thats with a heat shield in between them).
from my encounters you get wot u pay for so pay the extra £30-£40 and get a manifold u dnt need to move the oil filter.
SORRY BWT THE MOANING LOL

i would do it if you are fitting any 421 manifold on a mk2, even though most of them clear the oil filter, when the exhaust gets hot it has been known to melt the plastic oil filter cover, parts needed are listed above, its a fairly easy thing to do (if you are ok with mechanics).
as for drinking oil, i think you have a problem with your engine if its 'drinking' oil, as it dont make the slightest bit of difference where the oil filter is, and should these engines use very little oil unless you have a leak,.

basically the emissions were through the roof so it wouldnt pass. ive gone out and got an original manifold, cat and oil housing. hopefully then it will pass.
