KMS are a good choice mate. They are pugsport copies, but with smaller chokes so work better with mildly tunned engines. If you can find a set of cheap second hand DCOE style bodies then Sandy makes a nice manifold for them. What else are you wanting to do to the engine?

im looking to totally rebuild the engine, uprating internals, and running a set of lairy cams like catcams 809's maybe.
Have seen some throttle bodies on spoox motoesport for the 106 gti but am guessing these would fit a vts as the sam engine?

what are these like?

jenvey with some wild cams should be good, along with standalone, if you can afford it then forged goodies in there

but as said do a search its been covered many times, its a lot to explainso im sure a search will come up with a whole host of results :y:

yeh i would uprate the internals get some wossner low comp pistons and rods in there. would be looking at omex 600 managment as heard good things about them, just wont to make sure everythink 100% dont wont to cut corners and have it kick me up the arse.

hope you have a good amount of money mate, definately worth it but i know people who wish they had gone along with a charger or turbo conversion, i mean dont get me wrong throttle bodies pick up better and sound awesome and also more reliable so they do have there good points

yeh should have the money selling my 56 plate fiesta zetec to help with funding. Its not guna be rushed guna take time to make sure its all spot on. charger and turbo would also be very nice but cant beat the sound of bodies and reliability seems to be there aswel

so you're going to get some low comps and keep it naturally aspirated??

was thinking the same you need high comps mate for boddies low comps for turbo or charger

if you want a good engine built theres one for sale from edwards, that has alot of parts you need for a respectable engine, and is cheaper than it will cost to build, might be worth dropping him a pm if he hasnt sold it yet.

Again as asked why think about low comp pistons> high comp pistons are what you want in a highly tuned NA set up.
