Hello, ive just bought a BMC CDA enclosed induction kit for my vtr.

I need to know what sizes of silicon hosing i need for it, Ive seen the pic going around of some sizes but what i need to know is does this count for all bmc cdas?

also is it just two 90 degree angle bends or do i need anything else?

Plus is it woirth getting an oil catcher? if so whats the one i need to get?

Thanks

all you need is the 90 degree bend. Give samco a ring or sfs perfromance.

ps. along as you have an oil breather already

Yeah i wont fit it untill i have the Oil breather ready, Not sure wheather or not to install an Oil Catcher though?

If i get a breather will there be much oil coming from it?

Don't get a filter for the oil breather mate.. Oil goes everywhere, all over the engine block, right to the back of the throttle sensors etc.. Its a nightmare, i got one on now. Definatly get an oil catch tank. Im getting one on payday :y:

Wherever you want it lol... You could probably mount it onto an existing bolt :y: Im gonna try and bracket mine on the battery tray bolt. As for the size, im pretty sure its 15mm.

pretty sure the hose size is 70mm but not sure what size the throttle body is on a vtr

when i had my furio i had to get a reducer hose that went from 70mm down to 57mm

yeah im after this info too! my hose split which is on car now.. I thought it was 60mm on VTR, from the 70mm at the BMC end. soo a 90 degree angle, with a reducer i'd imagine?

Saxo_Scott

if the throttle body on a vtr is 60 then yeah go for a 70 to 60mm reducer.

He wanted the hose size for the catch tank hose, not the throttle body for the BMC
