I've found there is a massive difference to be had depending on the cam timing you choose. Either you can have a spread of power across the whole rev range, 1000rpm to 7500rpm, or you can have MORE up top at the sacrifice of idle lumpiness and generally running like a bag at the bottom end (drive it like you stole it!) or you can have a huge swell of 1000-3500rpm torque but a tail-off when the revs rise, so it's not as clean cut.
