i am currently in the process of turboign my vts, basically i have got as ciuning kit second hand off the forum, and on arrival i discovered the wastegate was cracked:n:, however i have seen this turbo on ebay, and was wondering if it would be suitable?? will it be too large and take forever to boost?? also will it fit my manifold which is designed for a garrett t2??
cheers

yes it will fit and will boost ok, but cheap turbos may not last long.

that will fit on the cittuning manifold ;)
they will all use the same inlet and exhaust manifold
not to sure how long those turbos will last for, but they are alot cheaper than the equivalent garrett.
what ecu are you running with the cittuning kit?

dastek wont be the best mate, not sure if it can control the fueling for boost??
gmc do the mf2 and sig/con
this allows you to run 1 or 2 injectors before the tb, makes the fueling right for when the car is onboost ;)
you really need to ensure the managment is good, otherwise it wont last to long and cost you more in the long run matey :)

initially i wanted to go dwn the mf2/sigcon route bt when i phoned john and gmc all he ever wanted me to do was buy full standalone. obviously i know that it is the best option, but it not always the cheapest. ive just purchased 4 330cc injectors off wide-vtr-turbo, on the fosale section, so does this mean that the mf2/sigcon is out of the window for me?? or would these injectors be suitable for the 5th and 6th ones??
according to my local dastek dealer, whos is a highly respectable tuner in the japanese scene, has claimed that the dastek wil be fine with running the boost, and fuelling!!

there you go then ;)
ive never seen a boosted car running the dastek setup, i was under the impression that they were a bit old hat now.
if someone whos a pro says it will be fine, go for it ;)
