My mate claims his vtr is cammed 90bhp silvertop model single plug Ecu says it isn't remapped if not remapped what power does he have and what would he have mapped also k&n 57i kit and a twin exhaust backbox or exhaust system i think.
What would mine get when i want to cam it and remap, with a green Panel filter, get a supersprint 4-2-1 manifold, straight through piper outward rolled stainless exhaust system? Would A Bmc or Raceland make a difference to a panel filter?
Also could i buy a piper stainless steel from cat to exhaust to go with my piper backbox i have just fitted?
Many Thanks

i made 105 with a piper 285, gmc manifold, enclosed green and a ashley system.
id say he is near 100 if he is lucky, with no manifold, an open wanky induction kit and some shitty 2 can exhaust.
id expect you'd make about 110 perhaps ?
panel filter is the way to go, save your money.

I'm pretty sure Jay had his cammed VTR with Raceland Airfilter, Manifold and Magnex Exhaust with Decat he made 115bhp.
Are you saying you want to keep your Cat Wayne?

obviously i will keep the standard manifold as mine has the cat in the mani, but want mine to pass an MOT of course so would have to put the standard cat on for MOT.

Or you can do as i mentioned in your progress diary?
Pretty sure an exhaust is easier to change than a manifold?

yep true:) so would mine pass with a full piper stainless steel system and a supersprint 4-2-1 manifold? or would i have to put the standard exhaust system on to the 4-2-1 to make it pass?

I would of thought if you put a standard exhaust on with a CAT in it, it should get through emissions!
If not. seek a friendly MOT tester and change nothing :P
