Hey is there a temp sensor on a mk1 1998 R reg saxo? I want to put a k&n induction kit on my car but have heard that there is a temp sensor on the standard air box, is this true? Becoz I dont want to mess up the management system!!

Well, i took off my airbox and fitted a green filter. No probs so far.
When i'm home i will try to post a pic from my engine with the filter on.
Then you can see if our engines are the same. Also have 1.1 1998

You can just take off the red line and then you have to close-up that "connection" point of that line above your filter. You can also take off the blue coloured tube. its of no use anymore.

I will make a better pic for ya when I'm at home. I didnt really knew how to explain it about the 'connection' thing.
You can see the Green filter on the pic. That filter is the whole kit you get when you order a induction kit for a 1.1.
