also where does it plug into?

would normally connect to the airbox setup

but you can just whack a little breather filter (bout 15 quid from halfrauds) to keep it tidy as i see an induction kit

Hi mate, im in the same boat, bought a vts without a breather pipe. What did you end up gettin?

if its not there you might aswell get the breather filter. can pick up the ripspeed ones for £9.99 or the pipercross for £20. i bought the pipercross one yesterday because the ripspeeds fitting is too small. mines for an 8v by the way so you might need to measure your breather fitment on the engine!

mine is similar to the picture, there is no attachment (i think it has a 90deg elbow there normally?) in the hole to fix a filter to. Will a breather filter clip in there by itself cos apparently the part normally in there comes as part of the rocker cover? Otherwise I guess it will just fall out. My simota induction kit has a grommet in the side of the carbon fibre airbox but i think connecting that will be even more of a biyatch!

The standard part is actually part of the cam cover itself and if you go to citroen they will tell you that you have to order the full cover in order to get the part

BUT!!!

If you look directly below that point there is some more pipework which comes out of the side of the head, this first 90degree bend is the exact size and fitment and will fit into the slot nicely

The part number is: 1192 N2 and is described as RECYCL END PIPE £10.82

I stumbled across it when i needed one for my cam cover. was ordering all sorts of bits when reconditioning my engine and happened to have a brainwave at a good time :)

its a nightmare tryin to find these things out. itll teach me for buying a sax that someone has 'tinkered' (i used the most polite word that i could think of there) with. once ive got that elbow i can stick a breather filter on it, i also need 3 of the screws that hold the HT block in place, cant help the earth having half of them missing. then im looking at a merry sensor replacing session to try and cure the dodgy idling and a n/s driveshaft to stop the leaking! :( hopefully worth it in the end though. i came out of a 55 plate 182 and used to love giving that a good nailing but havent felt able to give the sax a proper go yet as it has either been ill or the roads have been treacherous! its horrible stalling at every opportunity as you even notice it when changing down, just doesnt feel right at all.
