Oil leaks - How to stop them?

I'v noticed my sax leaving little dots of oil on my drive my, then had a
look in the engine bay and there was oil coming near the top of the
engine smileys/smiley5.gif

Does anyone know how to stop this? i'v been told silicone is good to
block little gaps where the leak is starting.

depends were its leaking from sounds like a gasket just replace that if that is the problem then should stop leaking smileys/smiley2.gif

sounds like the rocker cover gasket is leaking. easy to replace and not expensive at all.

its leaking just under the head of the engine. and dribbles right to the
bottom and off the oil filter which also need replacing now!

is it also leaking into youe water as it could mean headgasket job smileys/smiley13.gif
or another gasket around that area
