Iv'e read the Big Thread but still want some opinions direct.
At the moment i have a K57i K&N Filter. It's sitting right at the back of my engine bay.
Think i should get a raceland or shall i modify this one to improve it a bit more if you know what i mean.

thats a mobile phone iirc the K750i isn't it? :)
Usual induction rules to follow, how you do it doesn't matter. Keep the getting sucked in as cold as possible and also stop any heat soak as much as possible.

also try and keep the feed pipe straight and smooth
i used the corrigated pipe supplied with a bmc on mine and playing about on a dyno i was getting 2 extra hp with it off as the flow wasnt slowed by the ribbed surface
so something like samco hosing is better

IN MY OPINION! get raceland as they dont allow much heat soak, and just putting ducting to your k&n isnt enough, cold air is good so the more you get the better it is, so inclosed is best, the way you have it now your probably loosing power than if you had standard air box as again theyre totally enclosed too
