Decat...what else??

I was a bit hesitant to do my saxo up... you see so many done so poorly. I've had a saxo a lil while now and I thought I would get some sexy little parts...just wondering if anyone decatted there saxo vtr and if it made a big difference? if so what...throttle responce etc.

getting some lowering springs, mud flaps, bee sting ariel...
I've been looking at some turbo kits...

Basically what this thread is for... what have you done to your saxo and how did it improve it??

lol you need a bit more than just lowering springs and a bee sting ariel before you go thinking of turboing it!

stick with some easy stuff to start with:

manifold
induction kit
zorst
springs dampers

mines decated, does release some extra power thats restricted by the standdard cat, nothing to write home about tbh. wont pass an mot while its de-catted, worth bearing in mind

It's just passed the MOT... so has 12months on it.

Induction Kit coming through...
I've drive my real dads evo 6 tommi quite alot... so don't think a turbo'd saxo would be any hassle :P

i beg to differ.

not on the speed side but on the hassle. there is alot of working involved in turboing.

what sort of kit are you looking at?

I dont mean your driving ability mate, i mean going straight in with tubro'ing plans from standard is quite extreme, not to mention your looking at a good 4/5 grand lol
