i was made aware today that someone is providing this service at a very reasonable price, has anyone with a vtr had this done as im thinking of having mine done, what sort of gain you get? ive got a 4-2-1 induction kit and straight sytem? for the price offered im thinking why not?

better off fitting a bigger TB imo,

i dont think you will see massive gains by having this done as you are not making the TB/inlet alot bigger.
it may help with improving the smoothness of the air flow going in.
you may get a slight improvement in throttle responce??

the thread i was looking at said about 3bhp or so and was noticeable in throttle response but for the price hes askin its seems well worth it, dont know much about it, got pm'd about it today, first ive heard but apparantly hes done loads and only heard good things bk?

I had spencer_cammedvts do mine on the VTR, and its the best mod i ever did for its price.

Infact its the only mod i did that gave any noticeable difference to how the car drove. It had shed loads better throttle response and just seemed to feel smoother through the revs.

But as stated above, if you can get an easy fitting bigger tb that would be better.

Its the best mod i did and i wont bullsh*t you. I had BMC CDA, piper full system w standard mani.

Ive had it done on the S but id had alot of other work done at the same time so i cant say if it did owt.

what other bigger throttle bodies fit the vtr, ive only owned a saxo 3/4 months and before that always said i would never have 1 cos they never really appealed to me and i used to be adiment they were either to common or to chavvy but my tastes changed, and for thus reasons ive never had any interest althought i am mechanically minded its not to saxos lol

I know the 106 rallye inlet gives decent gains, but there like rocking horse shit and need the head re-tapping so unless you can do it yourself or have a good contact it can be a bit expensive.

But fitting a different body can give you some right grief if you dont know what your doing.

there is no other standard throttlebody that fits the VTR. you would need an aftermarket one if possible. this is the best throttlebody MOD you can do without going to indevidual throttle bodies.
