http://farm1.static.flickr.com/150/369082779_2832b1f440.jpg?v=0 there is a silver pipe at the front of the engine leading from the engine it looks like a silver tube, can anyone tell me what it is please as my car is missing it

from the manifold to the induction piping ? its not really vital i dont think, it just helps when its cold because it draws warm air from the exhaust into the engine lol

thats the one i no it isnt vital, it helps the heating though and its bloody cold lol so i want it to help warm up my car quicker

if the rest of the induction pipings ther all the black crap cant you boge some flexi tubing from one to the other ?

it doesnt have to be a genuine citroen part i just want my heater to work properly if i no what it is called i will try a place near me that sells parts i just need to no what its called

did you say it puts warm air into the engine? isnt that gonna make the car perform really badly?

no it just makes it heat up easier and makes the heater better it isnt vital it just was there when it was first sold and isnt there now lol

yeah lol, they have them on 1.1s to help them on cold mornings ect to help keep it running, tbh i would of took mine off if i had one lol! but its ther for some reason :S

and does it just slip on where the holes are or will i need to do any moddin to it?

measure the holes mate then get some of the tubing big enough to pull over that and jubilee clip it on

oh well il have to wait as i only had my car 36 hours and the clutch and the gearbox have broke so its got back to the idiot who was supposed to have fixed it in the first place lol
