if i was to fit a mild cam to my mk 2 vtr eg newman ph1 at my bros garage,
would we be able to roughly time the car up at his garage
and then drive to a place that can time it up???
not sure what is involved in timing the cam up as it is a vernier type sprocket on the cam, can anyone give me some help cheers

i personally wouldnt play with timing
just incase you get it wrong you could ruin your valves

you can ge the timing close so it can run yes but it wont run properly
itll be lumpy and stall pretty easy

Don't drive your car if the cam is not fitted correctly. You can broke the engine.

as long as he knows wat he's doing he should be able to get it to run. make sure he knows what he is doing tho very easy to fuck it up. my mate timed my cam and managed to get it to run pretty good.
