Never heard of anything like this mate - I couldn't even find a standard one when i needed one! lol

Might come included with high spec race clutch kits etc i suppose?

i had the ap racing clutch on my VTR and that still came with a standard release bearing...... no one makes an uprated one of any sort.

never heard of this either. are you sure you have adjusted the clutch correctly (if its not self adjusting)? just thinking if you have no free play it would be clearing and you could be cooking it... just a though??
